Hong
Kong Island Tour

With arguably the most spectacular skyline view in the world
and fifty years of cross culture history, this epicenter of Asia
is home to our most popular tour for visitors from all over the
world.
|
The Hong Kong Island Tour begins with the world's
oldest and steepest tram ride to Victoria Peak for a panoramic
view of the city, harbour, and islands that has mesmerized
visitors and inspired photographers since the tramway opened in
1888.

En route to Stanley Market, the group will see Happy
Valley Race Track and the lovely Repulse Bay. Situated in
a small town on a bay on Stanley Peninsula, this beachside
market consists of several alleys offering oriental handicraft,
clothing, linens, and knick-knacks, etc.
 |
A short drive away is Aberdeen, where the contrast in Hong
Kong lifestyles is never more evident. Sampans zip around
the harbour, their size dwarfed by huge multi-million dollar
yachts in the marina and by fishing boats heading out to sea or
returning with the day's haul. Generations of families
have lived on these fishing boats. A sampan cruise around
the docked boats in the marina provides a glimpse of everyday
life as people go about their business repairing nets, cooking,
and sorting the catch.
